Cork drug-dealer jailed after €49k and cannabis found next to his wheelie bin

€49,000 in cash was found in a jewellery box beside a wheelie bin at the back of a house in Cork City where a €6,800 stash of cannabis was also found.

Now at Cork Circuit Criminal Court, James McCarthy has been jailed for three years after he accepted responsibility for the cash and the drugs found at 5 Barnavara Crescent, Banduff Road, Mayfield, Cork, on May 9, 2023.
