A Welsh farmer who will have to raise thousands of euro for a man whose teeth were damaged in an assault at Reardens in Cork city was told that he will need to sell a few sheep to raise compensation.

Solicitor Frank Buttimer said Alun George, aged 35, of Llanferran, St Nicholas, Goodwick, Wales, had already pleaded guilty to the assault and knew that compensation would have to be raised.
