The case against the former managing director of Bank of Ireland Private Bank “boils down to dishonesty”, prosecuting counsel has told the court.

Brendan Mullin, aged 61, of Stillorgan Rd, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, is accused of stealing over €570,000 from Bank of Ireland Private Bank, among other charges, between 2011 and 2013 when he was managing director.
