A man who attempted to snatch a child by the hand and then called him “sexy boy” has been convicted in Fermoy District Court of a public order offence.

Aivaras Dvaranauskas, aged 37, was charged with engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting behaviour on Lower Cork St, Mitchelstown, contrary to section 6 of the Public Order Act 1994.
