A man has appeared in court just hours after a pedestrian died after he was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Co Donegal.

The man in his 60s was struck by a car in the village of Clonmany at approximately 12.15am last Sunday morning. He died on Wednesday night at Dublin's Beaumont Hospital as a result of the injuries sustained in the incident.
