Man, 50s, arrested following €660k drug seizure in Dublin

A man has been arrested after 33kgs of herbal cannabis was seized in Dublin on Wednesday.

Gardaí and Revenue Officers uncovered the illicit drugs during an intelligence-led operation.

The cannabis has an estimated value of €660,000 and is subject to analysis.

A follow-up search was conducted at a premises in Dublin.

A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested and subsequently detained at a Garda station in Dublin.

He has since been charged and is due to appear in court today.

Investigations are ongoing.
