Cork man stole dog over welfare concerns, court told

Cork District Court heard the man trespassed in a property at Orchard Court, Blackpool, Cork on March 14, 2023.

A 48-year-old Cork man admitted entering the balcony of an apartment and stealing a dog valued at €1,000 but when questioned later by gardaí he said he was motivated by concern for the welfare of the animal.

Michael Roe, of 14A Commons Road, Blackpool, appeared at Cork District Court on Monday.
