Man charged with rape of Cork woman in 2009

Gardaí said there was no objection to the accused being remanded on bail on conditions.

A 52-year-old man was arrested on Monday and charged with raping a woman at an address in County Cork in January 2009.

Garda Hilary Lynch formally arrested the accused man for the purpose of charging him. He was charged with a single count of rape on January 25, 2009.
