Convicted murderer brings challenge over decision on parole bid

A convicted murderer who has spent 20 years behind bars had brought a High Court challenge over what he claims is a refusal by the minister for justice to consider his entitlement to parole.
The action has been brought by Paulo Nascimento, 46, who was jailed after he admitted shooting dead trainee hotel manager Grainne Dillon, from Glounthane, Co Cork, after he robbed the Limerick hotel where they both worked.
