Just under two weeks before Nadine Lott's former partner killed her she told him not to "threaten" her and that "nothing is ever going to happen between us again, I want to make that clear," the Central Criminal Court has heard.

The jury in the trial of Daniel Murtagh was today given transcripts of WhatsApp messages between the accused and his ex-girlfriend in the days and weeks leading up to Ms Lott's death. In them the accused asks Nadine if she is "seeing someone from Dublin".
