Cork man jailed after being caught with heroin and cocaine
Leonard Geasley, 29, of St. Vincent’s hostel, Anglesea Terrace, Cork, had three previous convictions for having drugs for his own use and one for having drugs for sale or supply.
A drug addict who failed in his ‘valiant’ efforts to get into a treatment centre resorted to buying himself a television and becoming a virtual recluse in his hostel bedroom.
Eddie Burke, defence solicitor, said Leonard Geasley had done everything he possibly could to get on to a treatment programme and had made particular efforts to get into St Francis Farm.
