A barman at Cape Clear Island has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a young woman visiting the island when he drove her home from the Club Chéire pub two years ago.

The jury reached a unanimous verdict of guilty in the case against Duncan Harper, 35, at Cork Circuit Criminal Court on two counts of sexually assaulting the young woman in 2019.
