Man jailed for sexually assaulting student during hour-long ordeal at the Lough

He pleaded guilty to falsely imprisoning the victim and sexually assaulting her by touching her breasts and kissing her lips.

A 36-year-old Tipperary man has admitted to who sitting beside a 21-year-old student on a bench by The Lough in Cork before he went on to show her pornography, kiss her, chase her and sexually assault her on a summer’s evening.

Conor Ryan from Bansha Road, Tipperary Town, has just been sentenced to three years in prison with the last year suspended at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
