Two people injured, one critically, in stabbing attack in Co Down

The attack happened in the Chippendale Avenue area of the County Down town (PA)

Two people have been taken to hospital, one in a critical condition, following a stabbing attack in Bangor, Co Down.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland issued a statement on Wednesday evening saying it is at the scene of the “stabbing incident”.

It happened in the Chippendale Avenue area of the County Down town.

Inquiries are ongoing and police have asked anyone who may have information to come forward.
