Education Minister 'cannot guarantee' when home-schooled student will get results

A High Court judge has expressed concern that the Minister for Education "cannot guarantee" that a home-schooled Leaving Cert student will get any calculated grades at the same time as other candidates get their results.

The concern was expressed by Mr Justice Charles Meenan who last week ruled in favour of Elijah Burke who had challenged the Minister's decision to exclude him from the calculated grades process.
