Unions ‘hopeful’ of breakthrough in paramedic pay dispute as talks to continue

Despite “challenging” talks across the day on Monday, trade unions remain “hopeful” that a paramedic pay dispute can be resolved at the Labour Court when negotiations resume on Tuesday.

Talks at the Labour Court between the HSE and unions Siptu and Unite, which represent ambulance workers, began in the morning and finished close to 9pm on Monday. They are due to resume at 11am on Tuesday.
