Irish punter scoops more than €8.7m after winning Saturday's Lotto jackpot 

Another punter won €146,878 after matching five numbers plus the bonus.

An Irish punter has scooped more than €8.7m after winning Saturday's Lotto jackpot.

The winning numbers were 1, 7, 27, 28, 34, 42, and the bonus was 26.

The winning player won the top prize of €8,726,418 after matching all six numbers plus the bonus.

Another punter won €146,878 after matching five numbers plus the bonus.

There was no jackpot winner in the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws. 

According to Lotto bosses, more than 101,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.
