Motorcyclist charged after police officer injured in south Belfast
Police appealed to motorists to drive more carefully after it was revealed 29 people have died on the roads in 2026.
A motorcyclist has been charged with dangerous driving after a police officer was injured in south Belfast on Friday.
Two officers were responding to reports of a motocross-style bike travelling at speed when a motorbike collided with their vehicle at the lights in the Millfield and Castle Street junction on Friday evening.
