The forecaster said sunshine should be expected most of this Friday.

Temperatures are set to reach 20C this weekend, as Met Éireann has forecast mostly dry conditions through to midweek.

The forecaster said sunshine should be expected for most of Friday, although a few showers are likely in Munster during the evening.

Highest temperatures will range between 14C and 20C, with the warmest conditions expected in the west.

On Saturday morning, scattered showers will spread northwards across Ireland, but these will clear by the afternoon.

The rest of the day is expected to be dry and sunny, with highs of 14C in the west and up to 19C in the east.

According to the forecaster, there will be “a fair amount of cloud” on Sunday, along with some sunny spells, and a few showers in Leinster and Ulster. Highest temperatures will range from 14C to 18C.

Monday is also expected to be dry, bright, and sunny, with temperatures between 14C and 18C — coolest in the north and warmest in the south.

A few showers may develop in Leinster and Ulster during the afternoon and evening.
