'Please consider if your journey is necessary': Flooding hits roads to Dublin Airport

Some of the country’s major motorways have been hit by flooding this morning, causing gridlocked traffic.

Early this morning, Met Éireann issued a yellow rain warning for Dublin and Wicklow, warning of spells of heavy rain. The alert remains in effect until noon.
