Two people arrested after attack on woman in her home

Police said a man and a woman entered a woman’s house and struck her in the head early on Sunday (PA)

Two people have been arrested after an attack on a woman in her own home in west Belfast.

Police said shortly before 5.30am, it was reported that a man and a woman, armed with a knife and a hammer, entered a house in the Springfield Avenue area.
