Body recovered in search for missing fisherman off Donegal coast

A body has been recovered during an extensive search for a missing fisherman off the coast of Donegal.
The body of a man was recovered by a local fishing vessel off Teelin off the Donegal Coast just before 6pm on Saturday evening.
The search operation, coordinated by the Coast Guard at Malin Head Maritime Rescue Sub Centre, had been launched on Thursday after a member of the public spotted a boat that had run aground around 4km south of Mullaghmore Head in Sligo.
In a statement on Saturday evening, the Coast Guard extended their sympathy to the man's family, and thanked all search units and local fishing vessels involved in the search, as well as An Garda Siochana, and the wider community for their support throughout.
