Witnesses sought after motorcyclist, 60s, dies in Kildare collision

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a collision that killed a women in her 60s near Kilcock, Co Kildare, on Monday.

A motorcycle and a truck collided on the R148 at Killickaweeny shortly before 12pm.

The female motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body is being transferred to the morgue in Naas for an autopsy. No other injuries were reported.

The road between Kilcock and Enfield is closed with local diversions in place. 

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), and were travelling in the area between 11.30am and 12.30pm, are asked to make this footage available.
