Woman, 60s, critical in hospital after two-car crash in Co Donegal

A woman in her 60s is in a critical condition in hospital following a two-car collision in Co Donegal.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened on the N13 Letterkenny to Ballybofey road in the townland of Listillion, at approximately 5.05pm on Friday.

The injured woman, who the driver of one of the vehicles involved, is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries at Letterkenny University Hospital. No other injuries were reported.

Local diversions have been put in place.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information on the incident to come forward.

Anyone who was on the N13 at Listillion between 4.50pm and 5.15pm and who may have witnessed the incident have been asked to contact investigating gardaí.

Any road users who were travelling in the vicinity at the time, and who may have camera footage, have been make this footage available.
