The Government has been accused of carrying out a "monumental act of bad faith" in watering down and delaying proposed laws that would ban imports of goods from illegal Israeli settlements.

Members of the opposition rounded on the coalition during a debate on the Occupied Territories Bill and strongly condemned proposals put forward by US president Donald Trump that Gaza be transformed into a 'Rivera of the Middle East'.
