Tributes paid to showband legend Dickie Rock after death aged 88

Dickie Rock's death was confirmed in a statement issued by his family this evening.

Legendary Irish showband singer Dickie Rock has died at the age of 88.

In a statement on Friday evening, his children Jason, John, Richard, Sarah Jane and Peter said they were "saddened to confirm that he passed away peacefully today."
