Thomas Murray has been located safe and well.

An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Earlier, 20/8: Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 62-year-old man missing from Kilkenny city since Friday afternoon.

Thomas Murray was last seen at approximately 5.30pm on the Friday, August 16 in Knocktopher, Co Kilkenny.

He is described as being approximately 5'7 in height with a heavy build. He has short grey hair, a grey beard and blue eyes.

When last seen, Thomas was wearing a navy zip-up hoodie and navy tracksuit pants with black shoes. It is believed that he may have travelled to Waterford.

Gardaí and Thomas' family are concerned for his well-being.
