People with disabilities should be legally entitled to devices which help them, committee told

People who have additional needs should be legally entitled to devices and appliances which assist them, the head of the Oireachtas Disability Committee has said.

Fianna Fáil TD Michael Moynihan chairs the Joint Committee on Disability Matters, which has sat since the beginning of this Dáil and has heard testimony from across the sector. It is the only committee to have put forward a pre-budget submission.
