Romanian author and US translator of 'surreal masterpiece' win Dublin Literary award

Romanian author Mircea Cărtărescu and American translator Sean Cotter have been announced as the winners of the 2024 Dublin Literary award for the novel Solenoid.

The award is the world’s largest prize for a single novel published in English. Uniquely, the award receives its nominations from public libraries around the world and recognises both writers and translators.
