Update: Lorcan Meehan has been found safe and well.

Gardaí are appealing for the public's help in finding a missing Dublin teenager.

Lorcan Meehan, 16, was last seen at 2pm on Thursday on Sundrive Road in Dublin 12.

He is said to be five foot eight inches in height with a thin build, blond hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Lorcan was wearing a dark blue jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black runners.

Gardaí and Lorcan's family say that they are concerned for his welfare.
