Gardaí investigate after woman in her 20s found dead in Dublin

A garda investigation is underway following the discovery of the body of a woman in Dublin on Wednesday morning. 

The woman, who was aged in her 20s, was found at around 5.50am on Griffith Avenue in Whitehall.  

The woman’s body remains at the scene, which is currently preserved pending a technical examination. 

A garda spokesperson said the results of an autopsy, which will take place in due course, will determine the course of the garda investigation.
