Man arrested following robbery of person in Dublin

He was further identified as a person of interest in multiple robbery incidents that happened in the Blanchardstown area between October 2022 and January 2024.
A man was arrested following a report of an incident of a robbery of a person which took place in Dublin on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí attended the scene of the incident that happened in Clonee, Dublin 15 at around 7:45 pm on Tuesday.
The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at a different location by the K District Crime Task Force sometime later.
He was detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at a Garda station in the Dublin area.
The man was further identified as a person of interest in multiple robbery incidents which occurred in the Blanchardstown area between October 2022 and January 2024.
"The male was subsequently identified as a person of interest a number of incidents of robbery which occurred in the Blanchardstown area between October 2022 and January 2024," a garda spokesperson said.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Thursday.
A garda spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing."
