Even full staffing would not meet demand in children’s disability services, Fórsa says

Even if all vacancies in children’s disability teams were filled tomorrow, this would still not meet demand, the Fórsa trade union has warned.

Vacancy rates on children’s disability network teams have hovered at 18% since last year, despite efforts to reduce them from 36% in 2023. Linda Kelly, national secretary for health and social care professionals, said this “positive improvement” is not enough.
