KC to host new Saturday show on Today FM

Keith Cunningham

Radio station Today FM has announced two new additions to its weekend line-up.

Kicking off on January 13, Keith Cunningham will host on Saturdays from 2-6pm, while Waterford native Emma Nolan takes the reins with her new three-hour Sunday show from 4-7pm.

KC returns to Today FM after previously hosting the lunchtime slot in 2012 before departing to Cork’s Red FM in 2014, where he currently presents Breakfast on Red FM.

KC will present his weekend slot live from Cork, keeping listeners up to date with all the Saturday afternoon scores and lots of music.

He said: "Working for Bauer Media I have the pleasure of waking up Cork on-air each weekday morning, and now I get to present a brand-new Saturday afternoon show on the mighty Today FM, a station I adore.

"Expect brilliant tunes, lots of craic, and all the sport updates every Saturday from 2pm."

He will replace Louise Cantillon in the 2-6pm slot.

The Limerick native launched her new show this week, as the host of Today FM Lunchtime from 12-2pm Monday to Friday.

Today FM audiences will also be used to hearing Emma Nolan as she has been a regular on Today FM weekends.

Emma is one-third of SPIN 1038’s daily breakfast show Fully Charged with Emma, Dave, and Aisling.
