Turkey from Lidl recalled due to incorrect use-by date

Turkey from Lidl has been recalled by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) due to an incorrect use-by date on the product.

The FSAI issued the warning regarding the Deluxe Irish Carved Peppered Turkey Breast, which had incorrect to use by date of 25 June 2024, rather than the correct date of 25 January 2024.

Consumers have been advised not to eat the implicated batch after the corrected use-by date. 

The FSAI added: "Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale."

The recall applies to all 130g packs of the the turkey breast.
