Thursday's public accounts committee (PAC) hearing with the HSE and the Department of Health has been cancelled after department chief Robert Watt said he was too unwell to attend.
The committee had been due to meet with the health service representatives to discuss their financial returns and an enormous hole in the health budget for 2024, which has seen a moratorium declared on all recruitment within the HSE.
