Micheál Martin: 'Unconscionable' that fighting has resumed in Gaza

It is "unconscionable" that fighting has resumed in Gaza, the Tánaiste has said.

Micheál Martin said that the resumption of fighting after a week-long truce would see civilians put in danger once more. Last week he expressed his "outrage" at the resumption of fighting. He said at the time he was "determined to work with EU and international partners to deliver a permanent ceasefire and move towards a meaningful political process".
