The provision of tented facilities for up to new 100 asylum seekers in Meelick, Co Clare has prompted concern about “two-tier” accommodation.

Clare Immigrant Support Centre co-ordinator, Orla Ní Éilí is worried that what is being billed as short-term emergency accommodation could be in place for months or even years in a worst-case scenario.
