Barrs selector Jimmy Barry-Murphy: Dingle defeat tough to take but 'no point carping' about referee call

The Barrs were stunned at the death by Dingle in the provincial decider.

Jimmy Barry-Murphy was reluctant to criticise the late two-point free that resulted in St Finbarr’s suffering a heartbreaking one-point Munster final defeat in Semple Stadium.

Referee Chris Maguire brought the ball up 50 metres after Dylan Quinn was penalised for not handing the ball back. Conor Geaney delivered from outside the arc to hand Dingle a famous victory.
