SuperValu and Centra recall several rice products due to 'possible presence of insects'

The SuperValu rice products recalled.

Centra and SuperValu have issued an urgent recall on some of the brands of rice sold in their stores over fears some may contain insects.

Overall, 11 batches of rice are understood to be affected. They include Long-Grain, Basmati, Thai Jasmine and Wholegrain varieties. The rice is understood to have originated in the Netherlands.
