Taoiseach Micheál Martin has slammed proposals by the British Government to introduce an amnesty to end prosecutions for crimes related to the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

The Foreign Affairs Minister says the Irish government does not believe the UK proposals can be the basis for dealing with legacy cases.
