Two women and one child, 7, hospitalised following collision

The driver of the second vehicle, a woman in her late 50s, was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí in Co Monaghan are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which has left three hospitalised.

The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly before 3pm yesterday on the N2 at Annamarran near Carrickmacross.
