Pay student nurses higher allowances for working during Covid-19, urges Harris

Student nurses should be paid higher allowances for working during Covid-19, Higher and Further Education Minister Simon Harris has said.

The former health minister said it is “right” and “appropriate” that student nurses are paid for working during the pandemic and he would like to see “immediate action” next month following a review.
