Those living alone at greater risk of inadequate income in retirement – study

Those who are not married or cohabitating in the years before retirement are at greater risk of having inadequate income in retirement, research has revealed.

According to a new study published by the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), those who are not married close to retirement are at risk of falling below the official at-risk-of-poverty line.
