Donohoe: Varadkar 'will continue on as party leader'

Outgoing Finance Minister and Fine Gael TD Paschal Donohoe has insisted Leo Varadkar will continue as leader of his party, despite its woeful election performance.

After every election, Fine Gael party rules dictate that Mr Varadkar must submit himself for re-election as leader.
