Gardaí continue to question man as post-mortem completed on assault victim in Kilkenny

A man who was seriously injured in an assault in Kilkenny yesterday morning has died.

Update: A post-mortem has been completed on the body of the 46-year-old man who died as a result of a fatal assault in Kilkenny city yesterday.

Gardaí have said the results of the post-mortem will not be disclosed for operational reasons.
