Student claims anxiety followed him like barking dog as female teacher jailed for under-age sex

A substitute teacher who had sex with her 16-year-old pupil has been jailed for one year.

The court heard the woman was aged 23 at the time of both offences and that she waited until the boy's 16th birthday before engaging in sexual activity on a date in early 2018 because she believed that was the legal age of consent.
