A jogger who was injured after one or more galloping horses collided with him at the Curragh Racecourse in Co Kildare has sued for damages in the High Court.

The collision happened at the grass gallops in the Curragh horse training grounds when the horses were said to be galloping about 40 miles per hour and the force of it was such one jockey was dismounted, the court heard.
