Judge thought 'long and hard' before giving man suspended sentence for beating up his ex

A man who beat up his former partner and subjected her to a “terrifying ordeal” has been given a suspended sentence.

Eddie Farnan (aged 37) of Swiftbrook Park, Tallaght, Dublin, pleaded guilty to one count of assault causing harm to his then partner Lisa Power at the same address on June 2, 2017.
