Investigation into alleged sexual assault in Dublin

An investigation is underway into an alleged sexual assault in Dublin.

A woman in her 20s told gardaí it happened at around 9pm on Friday on the Drimnagh Road.

Gardaí said in a statement that there had been " no arrests at this time".

It added: "Owing to the nature of the investigation we will not be commenting further at this time."

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
